During his podcast, Foley opened up on why Cena versus RVD was successful, as well as his own match. He said, "I take a lot of pride in constructing what I thought was a really good storyline. The main event was Cena and RVD that night and they did a great job and Rob's love for ECW ring so true, obviously a big reason the show was so successful."
However, he further went on why he felt the entire event was successful. Foley claimed, "But I don't think people ordering it just for that match. And I thought our rivalry that we created, even though it hit several bumps along the way was a big part of the reason the show did well."
