MUMS and dads who missed out on Aldi’s coveted Wooden Toy Event have found their saviour in Frasers.
Formerly known as House of Fraser, the department store has a variety of wooden playthings for children, with many priced at less than a tenner.
It comes just two weeks after Aldi’s Wooden Toy Event sold out in minutes, with customers queuing outside stores as early as 6am to nab the range.
Teresa Embury took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to alert other Brits to the similar range at Frasers.
And it just so happens, the wooden toys at the department retailer are all currently reduced by 50%.
Teresa penned: “For anyone who missed all the wooden toys, Frasers has them!”
The wooden models in Frasers are designed by a brand named Tooky Toys.
Its Wooden 2 in 1 Kitchen and Café has been slashed by half-price to £54.99, as has the Ice Cream Parlour Playset for £14.99.
For less than a tenner, parents can nab the Wooden Cash Register for £9.99, Wooden Hairdresser Styling Belt for £8.99 and Wooden Toy Builders Tool Belt for £8.99.
The recommendations come just two weeks after Aldi’s Wooden Toy Event sold out in minutes.
The budget supermarket released a limited edition range of 84 toys, mostly made from wood, in its middle aisle ahead of Christmas.
Mums and dads were queuing up outside stores from 6am on October 10 in hope of nabbing some of the toys for their kids.
Among the best buys were the £24.99 Little Town Wooden Aldi Supermarket and £9.99 Little Town Wooden Toy Roleplay Bags.
The £7.99 Little Town Wooden Cuthbert Cake was also highly desired.
Unfortunately, a number of loyal customers missed out on nabbing any of the wooden toys.

And some were left fuming after finding items from the range on eBay for “triple the price” just hours after the shopping event started.
Fortunately, they don’t need to fume any longer now that eagle-eyed shoppers have found similar wooden toys for 50% off in Frasers.
Tooky Toys specialises in creating durable kids’ playthings from the material.
And according to the brand’s website, its toys are painted with water-based dyes to ensure they are eco-friendly.
